ACE at WPA in Long Beach

The ACE Lab had a strong showing at the 2016 Western Psychological Association conference held in Long Beach, CA. Dr. Chin-Newman, Co-Director of the LAND Project Dr. Smith, faculty collaborator Dr. Engelman, and ACE alum Stacy Shaw (now at UCLA) presented a symposium on disability in higher education. Four Research Assistants helped to present two LAND-related posters (one about ADHD, the other about mood disorders), and a third poster about the Inclusive Performing Arts Project. It was the first research conference for two of the RAs, and Dr. Chin-Newman enjoyed having the opportunity to meet some of the RAs' parents.
