With co-Principal Investigators Dale Ireland, Rachel Brunson, Samantha Davison, Rian Dindzans, and McKenzie Jennings, I am interviewing coordinators of Disability Cultural Centers (DCCs) at institutions of higher education around the nation. With the knowledge gained, we hope to help pave the way for a DCC to be established someday at Cal State East Bay!

In the meantime, it has been our pleasure to promote the benefits of disability cultural centers through presentations, and in collaboration with the Disability Community Collaborative, to host community-building events at CSUEB such as the first campus DCC Pop Up Day in 2025 (part of the first Disability Justice Week here, organized by the Center for Disability Justice Research: Health Equity, Education, and Creativity.
